As Office Manager at Today’s Dentistry, I oversee all aspects of our dental practice. And though I wear many hats on a daily basis, my main focus is making sure that our patients are comfortable and receive the best care possible. After your initial visit with Dr Pateras, I am always available to assist you with all of your financial needs and questions. This may include setting up financial arrangements that will work within your budget. It is my goal to have you leave our office with a complete understanding of how we are going to give you your most beautiful, healthy smile. I truly look forward to meeting you!
I began my career in dentistry more than 25 years ago as a dental assistant. Dentistry was not a path that I had planned but it has turned into a career that I love so much. I enjoy my job and I hope that shows when we are working together.
When I’m not at the office, you will usually find me doing something with my 2 children. We love to explore outside, when the Central NY weather permits, at all of our beautiful local parks and trails. My family is made up of extreme animal lovers. We currently share our home with our cat, George and our dog, Zola.
Please feel free to call or email me any time with any questions or concerns. I am always here to help!

I was raised in Syracuse and my career did not begin in the dental field but in the restaurant industry. For the past 11 years I have owned and cooked in my own restaurants. While I love feeding people, I decided I was ready for a new challenge and was lucky enough to join the team at Today’s Dentistry. There are daily opportunities to learn about dentistry that keep my job fun and engaging. As scheduling coordinator I’m here to make your appointments as convenient and smooth as possible. I truly enjoy creating an efficient, organized, and friendly experience for every patient!
When I’m not at the office you can find me with my husband Shaun and our two dogs. We love to travel and experience new cultures and cuisines. I love baking (and eating) pastries, archery, videogames and skiing.

I am one of the registered dental hygienists at Today’s Dentistry. In total, I have been working with smiles since 2007! I obtained my Dental Hygiene degree from SUNY Broome in Binghamton, NY and during that time I also worked for a general dentist as a dental assistant. I was raised in Norwood, NY and I currently live in Liverpool with my two energetic children!
I spent the first part of my hygiene career in a dental clinic that focused on providing dental care to low income families. Since then, I’ve been with Dr. Pateras and I cannot say enough about him or his dental office. I am very thankful for my job and I find it very rewarding to see what our team can accomplish together. I pride myself on creating a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere for all of my patients and I am committed to helping my patients understand and improve their dental and overall health.
When I am not at work, I am focused on my family. We are always on the go, my kids stay very busy with sports including ice hockey, soccer, and lacrosse. We love spending time outside and love to be by the water. You will often find us looking for adventure whether it be hiking, fishing, or just checking out new places.

I obtained my certification for dental assisting back in 2015 and I joined Dr. Pateras’ dental team as his assistant in 2016. I have been loving it ever since! My main goal as his assistant is to give each patient a positive and comfortable experience. As a team, we all stay up to date with the newest guidelines and best practices because keeping our patients safe is our top priority and I am very grateful to be a part of that.
When I am not at work I am usually hanging out with friends, family or with my border collie, Katie. We love being outside, traveling or just hanging out at home watching movies.

You will find me at the front desk with a warm greeting and a smile, answering your questions and guiding you throughout your experience here at Today’s Dentistry. I look forward to working with our team every day and interacting with our patients. There is always a joy to see you satisfied after a positive visit to the office. As patient coordinator, I am here to help you achieve the smoothest transitions through your treatment to get your best smile goals.
When I am not at work, you will find me with my family and our two fur babies! We love getting out on the water to fish and simply being around each other. I enjoy taking road trips and taking in different scenery, especially in the fall.

My name is Gerianne and I am one of the Hygienists here at Today’s Dentistry. Some of you may remember me working at the front desk with Karen. I have happily returned to Today’s Dentistry to practice dental hygiene again.
I am a native Southern Californian and moved to Liverpool in 2017 to be near my son and his family. Crazy you might ask? Nope. Best move I ever made.
I have 44 years experience in dentistry as a dental assistant, front desk, and 34 years as a Dental Hygienist. Fortunately, I still love what I do, especially getting to know our patients, working with them to maintain their dental and overall health.
When not at the office I enjoy concerts at the Amphitheater, spending time with my fiancé Gary and my grandson, Julian. We are also SU football season ticket holders.
